Why we love hemp
SUPER SOFT & LONG-LASTING
Hemp cotton isn’t just super soft, it also gets softer with wear. Its long-lasting properties make our clothes perfect items to hand down to the next generation!
HYPOALLERGENIC & ANTI-BACTERIAL
Being naturally anti-bacterial and hypoallergenic means hemp cotton is very gentle on our skin. With added UV protection it is the perfect companion for any activity
big or small.
NATURALLY BIODEGRADABLE
Hemp fabric is naturally biodegrable and compostable. We ensure this by using only natural dyes in our designs. Using clothing as compost can foster new growth and reduce landfill use.
CONSUMES MORE CARBON THAN TREES
Consumes four times more carbon dioxide than trees and uses 50% less water when compared to cotton. Hemp restores balance to it’s environment by cleaning the air,
soil & water.
REPLENISHES & HEALS OUR SOIL
Hemp enhances soil health by naturally regenerating it, adding nutrients to our soil. It is so effective at cleaning up contaminated soil that it was planted at Chernobyl following the nuclear disaster to help reduce soil toxicity.
PESTICIDE FREE & DEW RETTED
The dense root system and plant growth of hemp means that few weeds can emerge, eliminating the need for herbicides or labour-intensive weeding. Our hemp is completely pesticide free and is dew retted.
