Hemp Fabric Care
Here is our suggested guidelines for taking best care of your hemp garments:
T-Shirts: Wash Cold - Hand wash or Cold delicate wash 🆒 Line or Wind Dry 💨
Sweaters: 30 Degree Wash . Line or Tumble Dry Low
Use Eco-friendly natural detergents 🌼
(we love Lilys and Tru Eco ...both Irish!)
Hemp is naturally antibacterial, odour resistant and sweat wicking...
So doesn't need to be washed as often as other fabrics.
Try prolonging periods between washing by;
Airing & Steaming (hang in the shower!)
Wash less..... its better for your hemp fabric and for the environment!
Do not use bleach or other cleaners like oxi-clean or products with enzymes. Do not use spot spray laundry cleaners.
Due to the natural dyes the color will fade slightly in the first few washes to a more vintage look.
Take care not to wash with garments with zippers, velcro or towels with texture as this will cause abrasion and pilling.
